The Protected Price Listing has the same features as a Standard Listing but gives you the option to set your starting price.  Just like the standard listing, the item must meet our minimum sale value.

 

Although setting a higher starting price can limit buyer interest and activity, this 7 day auction-style listing allows you to protect your investment with minimal risk.   You will only pay a listing fee if your item does not sell.  You won’t get an offer like that from any newspaper!  If it does sell, you are only charged a final sales fee based on the competitive diminishing percentage table below.  

As mentioned above, the higher the price you start with the less your odds of selling your item.  At the same time, we understand sometimes you have to protect your investment.   If you decide to use our Protected Price Listing and your item does not sell, you are welcome to re-list your item at 1/2 price of your first listing fee per week for as many weeks as you like!  If you do sell your item, you will not be charged a listing fee for that week.

 

Example: You list an item for $250 in a Protected Price Listing and it sells on the 4th week.  Your listing fee would $10 for the first week and $5 per week for the 2nd & 3rd for a total of $20.  The 4th week there will be no listing fee charged.
